Verity Headshots / Team headshot style guide

Your team’s reference

A team headshot style guide
you can keep.

Use this free template to agree the presentation and delivery of your team’s portraits. No email address is required.

This is a portrait presentation brief, not an HR policy. Draft only until the studio and your coordinator agree it. Keep photos and individual appearance notes out of this document.

What should your team agree?

A useful headshot style guide records the background, crop, head size, lighting direction, retouching boundaries and delivery format. It also names who approves each person’s likeness and who approves the team’s shared style.

Use it alongside an approved reference portrait so future hires have a clear visual example. The aim is a consistent presentation while preserving each person’s features.

Example brief — adapt it to your team

Neutral gray background; vertical, chest-up portraits; similar head size and eye line; soft lighting; natural skin texture and distinctive features preserved. Deliver a JPG portrait and square crop for each person. Each participant checks likeness; the coordinator approves the shared style. These are illustrative choices, not a confirmed project specification.

The Verity five-person pilot includes an agreed written guide. Participants can use our source-photo checklist before submitting their photos.

Entries stay in this page and are not sent to Verity or saved automatically. Download or print your copy before closing. Send your agreed guide to the studio when arranging future portraits.
